DofE Volunteer Training
First Aid
I deliver 8 and 16 hour REC Outdoor First Aid courses, with scenarios and hands on training these are ideally suited to DofE supervisors responsible for the safety and wellbeing of groups in remote locations.
Safety Skills
If the mode of transport is on the water I can provide training for staff rescue skills and advise on risk assessment and appropriate remote and close supervision points and how this should relate to participant training.

Supervisor and Assessor Services
I have 5 years experience supervising and facilitating DofE expeditions on the land and water.

I am particularly skilled in behavioural management, dynamic risk assessment in the outdoors, and navigation.

I am confident in working as both a supervisor and assessor with groups at all levels of the DofE scheme.

I am also a scout leader and manage and co-ordinate a team of instructors in order to safely supervise overnight expeditions on a regular basis.
